Gaudin, Chad

We are collecting all sports trading cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Chad Gaudin. He is a graduate of Crescent City Baptist High School in Metairie, LA. Gaudin was drafted by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 34th round of the 2001 amateur draft. He played in the Tampa Bay Rays minor leagues from 2002-2003 when he was called up to MLB for the Rays and pitched in 15 games. In 2004, he pitched in both the Rays AAA team and in 28 games for the Rays. On December 12, 2004, he was traded by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays to the Toronto Blue Jays for Kevin Cash. He played for the Blue Jays AAA tram and in 5 games for the Blue Jays in 2005. On December 2, 2005, he was traded by the Toronto Blue Jays to the Oakland Athletics for a player to be named later. The Oakland Athletics sent Dustin Majewski (minors) (December 8, 2005) to the Toronto Blue Jays to complete the trade. In 2006, he played in 55 games for the A’s. On July 8, 2008, he was traded by the Oakland Athletics with Rich Harden to the Chicago Cubs for Josh Donaldson, Sean Gallagher, Matt Murton and Eric Patterson. He pitched in 24 games for the Cubs when on April 5, 2009, he was released by the Chicago Cubs. On April 12, 2009, he was signed as a Free Agent with the San Diego Padres. He played for the Padres till August 7, 2009, when he was purchased by the New York Yankees from the San Diego Padres. On March 25, 2010, he was released by the New York Yankees. March 28, 2010: Signed as a Free Agent with the Oakland Athletics. On May 21, 2010, he was released by the Oakland Athletics. On May 26, 2010, he signed as a Free Agent with the New York Yankees. On November 2, 2010, he was granted Free Agency. On December 17, 2010, he signed as a Free Agent with the Washington Nationals. On July 21, 2011, he was released by the Washington Nationals. On August 5, 2011, he signed as a Free Agent with the Toronto Blue Jays. On November 2, 2011, he was granted Free Agency. On January 4, 2012, he signed as a Free Agent with the Miami Marlins. On October 29, 2012, he was granted Free Agency. On December 13, 2012, he signed as a Free Agent with the San Francisco Giants. On October 31, 2013, he was granted Free Agency. In 2016, Gaudin pitched in 44 games in the Mexican Baseball League for the Pericos de Puebla. On February 21, 2017, Gaudin, along with Daric Barton, Manny Rodriguez, Nyjer Morgan, Rodolfo Amador, and Willy Taveras were traded to the Acereros de Monclova in exchange for RHP Joaquín Lara. He pitched the 2017 season with Acereros de Monclova.
