We are collecting all sports cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Gary Gray. He is a graduate of Leon Godchaux High School in Reserve, LA. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 18th round of the 1974 amateur draft from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He played 1st base in the Texas Rangers minor league system from 1974-1979 with call ups to MLB in 1977, 1978 and 1979. On January 4, 1980, he was traded by the Texas Rangers with Mike Bucci (minors) and Larry McCall to the Cleveland Indians for David Clyde and Jim Norris. He played both at the AAA level and MLB for the Cleveland Indians in 1980. On December 8, 1980, he was drafted by the Seattle Mariners from the Cleveland Indians in the 1980 rule 5 draft. In 1981 he played the whole season with the Mariners. In 1982, he played both at the AAA level and MLB with the Mariners. From 1983-1987 he played for several teams in the Mexican League.
