Wiles, Randy

We are collecting all trading cards, memorabilia and photographs of Randy Wiles. He is a graduate of Martin Behrman High School in New Orleans, LA. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 5th round of the 1973 MLB June Amateur Draft from Louisiana State University. He pitched in the Cardinals minors from 1973-1976 when on December 15, 1976, he was traded by the St. Louis Cardinals to the Chicago White Sox for Tony La Russa. He played in the White Sox minors in 1977 and was called up to MLB and pitched in 5 games for the White Sox. On August 23, 1977 he was selected off waivers by the St. Louis Cardinals from the Chicago White Sox and pitched for the New Orleans Pelicans. On December 9, 1977, he was traded by the St. Louis Cardinals to the Houston Astros for Ron Selak (minors). He finished his career in 1978 playing for the Houston AAA team Charleston Charlies.
