Reisz, Albie

We are collecting all sports trading cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Albie Reisz. Reisz played his college ball at Southeastern Louisiana University. Reisz played halfback, tailback, quarterback and punted for the Cleveland Rams from 1944-1945, Los Angeles Rams in 1946 and Buffalo Bills in 1947. Reisz as a quarterback, threw for 923 yards in his career, completing 57 of 134 passes with 10 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. He also ran for 164 yards in 83 attempts with 2 rushing touchdowns. Reisz punted 88 times for an average of 37.8 yards. Reisz also returned 13 punts for an average of 11.2 years and 12 kickoffs for an average of 23.8 yards. Reisz even played on defense making 5 interception with an average return of 25.4 yards. Reisz was inducted into the Southeastern Louisiana Athletic Hall of Fame in 1942. Reisz was born on November 29, 1917 and died on May 1, 1985.
