We are collecting all sports cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Julius “Dookie” Bensel. He is a graduate of Alcee Fortier High School in New Orleans, LA. He pitched in the Evangeline League in 1951 for the Thibodaux Giants. In 1953, he pitched for the Thibodaux Giants and Lafayette Bulls. In 1954, he pitched for the New Iberia Pelicans and Baton Rouge Red Sticks.
