We are collecting all sports trading cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Jacob Brumfield. He is a graduate of Hammond High School in Hammond, LA. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 7th round of the 1983 MLB June Amateur Draft as an outfielder. He played in the Cubs minor leagues in 1983 and was released. He was signed as a Free Agent with the Kansas City Royals in 1986. He played in the Royals minors from 1986-1991. On November 12, 1991, he signed as a Free Agent with the Cincinnati Reds. He played in the Reds minor in 1993 and at the MLB level in 24 games that same year. He played with the Reds in 1994 when he was traded by the Cincinnati Reds to the Pittsburgh Pirates for Danny Clyburn on October 13, 1994. He played for the Pirates for 1995 & 1996 when he was traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Toronto Blue Jays for D.J. Boston (minors) on May 16, 1996. He played the rest of 1996 for the Blue Jays and 1997. From 1998-1999, he played for the Los Angeles Dodges and Toronto Blue Jays again. From 2000-2001, he played in the minors for the Blue Jays and Chicago White Sox. Brumfield finished 2001 playing in the Independent Leagues for the Camden Riversharks and Nashua Pride.
