We are collecting all sports cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Andy Cannizaro. He is a graduate of St. Paul’s High School in Covington, LA. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 7th round of the 2001 MLB June Amateur Draft from Tulane University. He played Shortstop, Second Baseman and Third Baseman in the Yankees minor leagues from 2001-2006 when he was called up to the MLB level in 2006. He played in 13 games for the Yankees. In 2007, he played in the Yankees minor leagues. On November 28, 2007, he signed as a Free Agent with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He played in the Devil Rays minors in 2007 and 2008. He was called up to the MLB level with the Devil Rays in 2008 and played in 1 game. On August 4, 2008, he was sent to the Cleveland Indians by the Tampa Bay Rays as part of a conditional deal. He played in the Indians minors for the rest of 2008 and in 2009. On August 13, 2009, he was purchased by the Chicago White Sox from the Cleveland Indians. He played in the White Sox minor league system for 2009.
