We are collecting all sports cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Larry Gilbert. He is a graduate of Jesuit High School in New Orleans, LA. He started his career at age 18 playing outfield for the 1910 Victoria Rosebuds in the Southwest Texas League. He then played from 1911 to 1912 for the Battle Creek Crickets. In 1913, he played for the Milwaukee Brewers which was a AA Level team. On September 15, 1913, he was drafted by the Boston Braves from Milwaukee (American Association) in the 1913 rule 5 draft. In 1914, he played in 72 games for the 1914 Boston Braves. In 1915, he played for both the Toronto Maple Leafs (AA) and in 45 games for the Boston Braves. In 1916, he played for the Kansas City Blues (AA). From 1917-1925, he played for the New Orleans Pelicans.
