We are collecting all sports cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Red Lavigne. He is a graduate of S.J. Peters High School in New Orleans, LA. He played outfield in the St. Louis Cardinals minor league system from 1941-1942. In 1943, he played for the New Orleans Pelicans which was affiliated with the Brooklyn Dodgers. From 1946-1950, he played in the Boston Red Sox minor league system. This included the New Orleans Pelicans from 1946-1947. From 1951-1954, he played in the Chicago Cubs minor league system. He got as high as AAA Level playing from 1947-1949 with the Louisville Colonels, 1951 Syracuse Chiefs and 1951 Springfield Cubs. He played a total of 1,282 games in the minor leagues.
