We are collecting all sports trading cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Donald Royal. He is a graduate of St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, LA. He was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 3rd round (6th pick, 52nd overall) of the 1987 NBA Draft. He played for the Pensacola Tornados from 1987-1988 and the Cedar Rapids Silver Bullets from 1988-1989 in the CBA. He played in 66 games for the Minnesota Timberwolves from 1989-1990. From 1990-1991 he then played in Israel for Maccabi Tel Aviv. He came back to the USA in 1991 and played for the Tri-City Chinook in the CBA before he caught on with the San Antonio Spurs from 1991-1992. He played with the Orlando Magic from 1992-1996. On November 2, 1996, he was traded by the Orlando Magic with Jon Koncak and Felton Spencer to the Golden State Warriors for Clifford Rozier, Rony Seikaly and a 1999 2nd round draft pick (Laron Profit was later selected). Royal played for the Warriors till February 20, 1997, when he was traded by the Golden State Warriors to the Charlotte Hornets for Scott Burrell. He finished off his career with the Hornets. Royal played his college ball at the University of Notre Dame.
