Miley, Mike

We are collecting all sports trading cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Mike Miley. He is a graduate of East Jefferson High School in Metairie, LA. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 1st round (24th) of the 1971 MLB June Amateur Draft from East Jefferson High School and the California Angels in the 1st round (10th) of the 1974 MLB June Amateur Draft from Louisiana State University. He played shortstop in the Angels minor league system till 1975 when he was called up to the MLB level by the Angels and played in 70 games. He split 1976 between the Angels AAA club and playing in 14 games with the Angels. Miley died in a car crash in Baton Rouge, LA on January 6, 1977.
