We are collecting all sports trading cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Tony Roig. He is a graduate of Alcee Fortier High School in New Orleans, LA. He played Shortstop, Second Baseman and Third Baseman in the minor leagues from 1948-1950 mainly in the D Level for several teams in the various leagues. In 1950, he signed with the Washington Senators and played in their minor leagues until 1953 when he was called up to play in 3 games at the MLB level. He played in the Senators minor from 1954-1957 with call ups to the MLB level for 29 games in 1955 and 44 games in 1956. On December 2, 1957, he was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers from the Washington Senators in the 1957 minor league draft. He played in the Dodgers minors till 1960. From 1961-1962, he played in the Chicago White Sox minors. From 1963-1968, Roig played in Japan for the Nishitetsu Lions and Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes.
