Spann, Tookie

We are collecting all sports cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Emmanuel “Tookie” Spann. He is a graduate of Brother Martin High School in New Orleans. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 10th round of the 1987 MLB June Amateur Draft from Tulane University and the Detroit Tigers in the 3rd round of the 1988 MLB June Amateur Draft from Tulane University. He played Outfielder and First Baseman in the Tigers minors from 1988-1990. From 1991-1993, he played in the San Diego Padres minors. He ended his career in 1993 playing out the rest of the season in the Cincinnati Reds minors. He got as high as AA Level with the 1993 Wichita Wranglers and Chattanooga Lookouts.
