We are collecting all sports trading cards, memorabilia and photographs of Ron Washington. He graduated from John McDonogh High School in New Orleans, LA. He was signed by the Kansas City Royals as an amateur free agent in 1970. He played in the Kansas City Royals minor league system from 1970-1975. On November 2, 1976, he was traded by the Kansas City Royals to the Los Angeles Dodgers for Steve Patchin (minors). He played in the Dodgers minor league system from 1976 to 1980. He did make it to MLB in 1977 playing in 10 games for the Dodgers. On March 26, 1980, he was traded by the Los Angeles Dodgers to the Minnesota Twins for Wayne Caughey (minors). He played in the Minnesota Twins minor league system from 1980 to 1981. He made it up to the MLB levels in 1982 and played there till 1985. In 1986 Wsshington played both in the minors and major league level for the Twins. From 1987-1990 he played with several teams both in the minors and major league level for the Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros and Texas Rangers.
