We are collecting any trading cards, photographs and memorabilia of Len Yochim. He is a graduate of Holy Cross High School in New Orleans, LA. He was signed by the Pittsburgh Pirates as an amateur free agent in 1947. In 1947, he pitched for the New Iberia Cardinals in the Evangeline League. From 1948-1951, he played in the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league system when he was called up in 1951 and pitched in 2 games for the MLB Pirates. From 1952 to 1954, he again played in the Pirates minor league system being called up in 1954 pitching in 10 games. From 1955-1956, he again played in the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league system. He played the final year of his career in the Milwaukee Braves minor league system. During his career, the New Orleans Pelicans were a Pirates minor league team. Yochim played with the Pelicans from 1948-1956.
