Payton, Mel

We are collecting all sports cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Mel Payton. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Warriors in the 2nd round (9th pick, 18th overall) of the 1951 NBA Draft out of Tulane University. He played small forward for the Warriors from 1951-1952. On September 11, 1952, he was traded by the Philadelphia Warriors to the Indianapolis Olympians for Don Lofgran. He played for the Olympians from 1952-1953.
