We are collecting all sports trading cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Paul Thompson. He was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 3rd round (3rd pick, 50th overall) of the 1983 NBA Draft out of Tulane University. He played small forward for the Cavaliers until February 12, 1985, when he was traded by the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Milwaukee Bucks for a 1985 2nd round draft pick (Hot Rod Williams was later selected) and a 1987 2nd round draft pick (Kannard Johnson was later selected). On October 10, 1985, he was waived by the Milwaukee Bucks. On October 13, 1985, he signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia 76ers and played in 23 games for the 76ers. He also played for the La Crosse Catbirds in the CBA for part of 1985 and 1986. From 1986 to 1999, Thompson played in Europe for several teams.
