We are collecting all sports trading cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Pete Thomassie. He is a graduate of Marrero High School in Marrero, LA. He played Outfielder with the Waycross Bears in the Georgia-Florida League from 1939-1940. In 1941, he played for the Atlanta Crackers in the Southern Association as well as the Savannah Indians in the South Atlantic League. In 1942, he played for the Crackers again as well as the Memphis Chickasaws in the Southern Association. He serviced in WWII and upon his return, he played in 1945 with the Memphis Chickasaws. In 1946, he played at his highest level with the AAA Milwaukee Brewers which was a Chicago White Sox affiliate. He also played that year with Nashville Volunteers a Chicago Cubs affiliate. From 1947-1948, he played with the Houma Indians in the Evangeline League. In 1949, he played with the Waycross Bears again. In 1950, he played with the Baton Rouge Red Sticks in the Evangeline League. 1951 found him playing for the Thibodaux Giants in the Evangeline League. 1952 he played for the St. Petersburg Saints in the Florida International League. He ended his career with the Lafayette Bulls in the Evangeline League
