We are collecting all sports cards, memorabilia and any photographs of Joe Slusarski. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 6th round of the 1987 MLB June Amateur Draft from University of New Orleans and and the Oakland Athletics in the 2nd round of the 1988 MLB June Amateur Draft from University of New Orleans. He pitched in the Athletics minors from 1988 to 1991. In 1991, he was called up to MLB by the Athletics and pitched in 20 games. From 1992-1994, he pitched in 17 games for the Athletics. On May 11, 1994, he was released by the Oakland Athletics. He played in the minors for the Philadelphia Phillies during 1994. IN 1995, he pitched in the Cleveland Indians and Milwaukee Brewers minors. He pitched at the MLB level for the Brewers in 12 games that year. He pitched for the New Orleans Zephyrs from 1995-1996, 1998-2001. The Zephyrs were the AAA affiliate for the Brewers till 1996. The Zephyrs were the AAA affiliate for the Houston Astros from 1998-2001. He pitched for the Astros at the MLB level in 3 games in 1999, 54 games in 2000 and in 8 games in 2001.
